Siderurgia Del Mediterraneo SA (SIDMED) is a Spanish-based private company engaged in the manufacture of cold-rolled steel sheet products. SIDMED was incorporated in December 1985, and has its registered principal pace of business in Sagunto, Spain. The company's business activities have been industrially classified in the cold rolling of narrow strips and in the manufacture of basic iron and steel and of ferro-alloys. SIDMED is one of the top largest companies in Spain. The company produces the cold-rolled steel sheet products that Sollac exports to Canada. Sollac, a subsidiary of Usinor, is one of Europe's leading producers of flat-rolled products and has an interest in SIDMED. The company is owned by Arcelor Planos Sagunto Sociedad Limitada, a privately held company which acts as agents involved in the sale of fuels, ores, metals and industrial chemicals. Siderurgia Del Mediterraneo SA is a dissolved company.
